At the heart of the brand is Dia. Her passion began in her own kitchen, where she lovingly prepared food for family gatherings, celebrations, and special moments. Cooking was never just about food—it was her way of caring for others.

Support and Shared Passion

While Dia cooked at home, her husband Bien worked as a chief cook aboard international ships. His professional experience and respect for quality ingredients became a source of guidance and support, while Olive, her sister, encouraged and motivated Dia to pursue selling her lasagna online—helping shape the brand’s foundation.

From Hobby to Dream

In 2021, Dia began making lasagna as a hobby, sharing trays with relatives and friends. The response was overwhelming. Encouraged by positive feedback, she started accepting online orders—giving life to what was then known as The Best Lasagña in Las Piñas, now Layers of Amores.

Growing Without Compromise

As orders increased, the brand grew beyond the home kitchen. With family support and loyal customers, Layers of Amores reached malls such as Vista Mall and SM Center Laspiñas. Despite the growth, Dia stayed true to her values—everything remained made from scratch, with no shortcuts.

Expanding with Care

In 2024, the menu expanded with the introduction of tiramisu. Made with premium ingredients and the same attention to detail, it quickly became a favorite alongside the lasagna.
